Every COA issued by AVOY is permanently registered on the blockchain through Verisart, providing a tamper-proof record of authenticity, issuer identity, and ownership history. Whether you’re a collector, gallery, or estate, our COA services ensure the work you hold is backed by immutable provenance.

Certificate of Authentication (COA) Policy
At AVOY Certified Legacy Art & Publishing, we protect the integrity of William Verdult’s name and body of work. If you currently own a piece of art attributed to Verdult and wish to have it authenticated, we offer a structured, professional review process. This ensures only verifiable works receive a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) bearing the AVOY Certified seal.
The AVOY Certified Difference:
Every official William Verdult print sold through AVOY Certified Legacy Art & Publishing comes with a tamper-evident Certificate of Authenticity (COA), signed and serialized by our verification team.
- Each COA includes:
- Printed work title, medium, and edition number (if applicable)
- AVOY Certified holographic seal or embossed signature
- Unique serial number traceable in our secure ledger
- Optional NFC chip or QR code linking to the artwork’s authentication profile
Important:
COAs are not sold separately and are only issued:
- With verified purchases through AVOY Certified channels
- Or following a successful independent authentication request

Authentication Includes:
- High-resolution image review (front, back, signature, and details)
- Artwork dimension verification
- Provenance assessment (if available)
- Comparison to known works in the Verdult private ledger
- Formal feedback regarding authenticity status
- If approved: issuance of a COA with holographic seal, serial ID, and optional NFC tag
Authentication Review Fee:
$148 per review (non-refundable; credited toward official print upgrades or framing packages).
